Citizens of countries mentioned below may stay without visa for a length of 90 days.

Nordic citizens among many others may enter Namibia without pre-visa and stay for 90 days. If you wish to stay longer, you have to apply for this, on beforehand, at the Ministry of Home Affaires in Windhoek.

• The following citizens may enter without pre-visa. If your nationality is not mentioned here you may apply for your visa to Namibia through the Consulate in Stockholm providing that you have a valid residence-permit to either Sweden or Finland in your passport..
  
  
  

Business-visa instructions:

 

• 1 pcs of application form, filled in and signed.

• 2 pcs of recent photos in colour. (Not black/white)
  
  
• passport - must be valid at least 6 months and have a residence-permit to either Sweden or Finland in it.
  
  
• Invitation letter from your business-contact in Namibia

 

NOTE - very important:

If you are about to enter Namibia with the intention to work, rather than negotiate, visit a fair, or other lighter business purpose, you must have i work-permit. This is NOT a visa, and it is applied for through the Stockholm consulate, but decided on by the Ministry of Foreign Affaires in Namibia. The processing time is several weeks. The line between "work" and "business" is sometimes very thin, and we urge you to call us for discussions if you are unsure.
